All spoilers behind cuts - I promise

So, yesterday really began on Wednesday night, when Matt, my youngest sister and her friend watched as I twisted and pulled and coaxed my hair into a bunch of twisty, worm like bendy rollers in order to get some curl out of my hair. Since I had given one of my pillows to my sister to sleep on, I ended up stealing Matt's pillow to get some comfort to sleep. Didn't really work since I had a cough to deal with as well.

Woke at six am and shook the girls out of bed. Went through the fun of moving four people through showers and breakfast and then were ready early. Took my hair out = strange curls. Rode the bus into town with everyone, wearing almost all my costume (I carried my robes) and walked over to Southbank to the old IMAX theatre, being the first ones there. Then the crowds came in and crowded around the door. Without a single costume on.

That was weird, I thought there would have been more costumes. Besides our group, I think I saw a little boy and a little girl with the glasses and scar going on. Our costumes looked fantastic, and there were a lot of people happy to see us dressed up.

The fantabulous [livejournal.com profile] _snitchbitch organised tickets and everything, and basically made the day so brilliant. When they finally opened the doors, we already had tickets so could stream into the big theatre with this huge screen. Huge, huge screen.

The crowd in that movie was really good. People cheered as the movie started and clapped at the end. They were really into the movie, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

I'll post my real review later.

We stumbled out of the theatre rather excited and proceeded to excite small children with our costumes. We would have been a hit at the Out of the Box festival that was going on. We crossed the river for the Pancake Manor for lunch, spent some time looking around at a comic store and went back to see Harry Potter again.

Then myself, now a very tired, very happy fan girl, dragged herself home, her robes flapping in the wind . . .

I will post a review and some related thoughts that were made clearer through the movie. But I have exams next week and my study has been doleful. Again
