Managed an interesting day at school today. Must remember not to walk lots of kids around, especially when crossing roads is involved.

Have Hermione thoughts. Must think more and write them up. I'm blaming Liz . . .

I'm sure there are *some* people in the world who still look at Harry Potter and its characters with completely innocent eyes.

See, my problem is that I pretty much agree with Cal. If it weren't for Hermione, I wouldn't bother reading the books at all - that and the fact that if I don't read them, I won't understand a single conversation that goes on around me...

The other thing is that Hermione is where a great deal of the School Story genre indicators are centered - the Marietta thing being a major one.

But I have packing and job applying and all those other things to do... *g*

I love her, and she's by far my favourite character. I just think she becomes insular in times of high stress, and cannot see that sometimes she's alone. I think it could be linked with both her high intelligence and her bossiness - but I need to think more before I write it all down
