Hee

For some reason this really amused me. (I'm sure I wouldn't be as amused if I lived in Texas)

My goodness - how contrived was that Neighbours plot? (Why am I watching Neighbours?)

No, no - you would also think it was amusing if you were a democrat in Texas...I think the whole thing is priceless, to be honest. Imagine if the ALP could have stuffed up the Kennett reign by skipping across to Albury?

Of course, you being a Queenslander that may not mean much to you.

:-P

We've got a much more creative political history up here. Of course, the Nationals, Liberals, One Nation and Independants could all cross over into Tweed Heads and Beattie could still do what he liked *g*

You're watching Neighbours for Harold/Lou, clearly. OTP! OTP! (If this plot is notably contrived, I'm not sure I want to know, given the general quality of Neighbours plots....)

(Hee, Texas.)

Harold/Lou! Why didn't I see it *g*

The plot: Oh look, Toadie is handcuffed naked to a bus stop. Oh look, old man has a spare pair of pants for him. Oh look, it's true love and they're very happy. Tra la la happy wedding scene. Oops, the limo won't start and they'll have to borrow the car that cute Irish guy was using. They're happy with this because they're alone and they love each other very much. Take eyes off road to kiss despite fact they're driving.

Look, convenient cliff into the sea with only flimsy arrow sign to prevent cars driving in. There the happy couple go . . .

Oh man, you're so right. Ew!
