I loved "On Murder" and "On Murder 2", - both collections of crime (specifically murder) journalism that she edited. I keep checking the "true crime" shelves hoping for "On Murder 3" But the Phryne Fisher books have never appealed to me. Don't know why. Neither do I understand why practically the only male crime fiction writer is also the only Australian crime fiction writer I'm willing to read. Namely: Shane Maloney. Although in some ways (impeccably accurate Melbourne setting, Labor party politics) it makes perfect sense.
